Nube o galpón roca o almohada; sonidos en
la forma, ilusiones en la mente. La inconcebible pereza de lo natural, el
previsible defecto de la curva, el atendible orgullo de la recta, la sombra
implícita del color. En la perspectiva enajenada por el horizonte la fuga
indefectible del infinito. Barullos que habitan con molicie perturbando la
mente al intentar acercarnos a los recursos innombrables del dibujo.

Cloud or shed, rock or pillow; sounds in form, illusions in mind. The inconceivable laziness of the natural, the predictable flaw of the curve, the attestable pride of the straight, the implicit shadow of color. In the perspective alienated by the horizon the unfailing flight of infinity. Noises that inhabit with annoyance disturbing the mind as we try to approach the unmentionable resources of drawing.

Quizá lo más llamativo de esta muestra es
el extenso mural geométrico en blanco y negro que metamorfosea círculos y
directrices, -el mismo que reproduce el simpático y minúsculo catálogo-, obra
que va de punta a punta de la longilínea sala. Pero también el público, -me
consta al menos en la ocasión de la inauguración-, quedó estupefacto ante los
grandes trabajos móviles sobre paneles circulares de acrílico traslúcido,
ubicados en ambos extremos y con unos metacírculos en movimiento (círculos
interiores sobre círculos) que tienden a la transverberación y la metamorfosis.
En verdad, la sala muestra tan sólo tres grandes obras dentro de la dinámica con que viene trabajando la original artista, pero el trío las intercomunica en su quietud tanto como en su dinámica de acompasados giros rítmicos polifónicos. Y si el espectador ha seguido al menos parte de lo producido por Villafañe, podrá advertir una cuidada síntesis que ha depurado su trabajo, y así como el vértigo al que invitó desde un comienzo fue conducido a un máximo de severidad y sutileza interpretativa del grafismo, de cuerpo entero.

En verdad, la sala muestra tan sólo tres grandes obras dentro de la dinámica con que viene trabajando la original artista, pero el trío las intercomunica en su quietud tanto como en su dinámica de acompasados giros rítmicos polifónicos. Y si el espectador ha seguido al menos parte de lo producido por Villafañe, podrá advertir una cuidada síntesis que ha depurado su trabajo, y así como el vértigo al que invitó desde un comienzo fue conducido a un máximo de severidad y sutileza interpretativa del grafismo, de cuerpo entero.

Perhaps the most striking feature of this exhibition is the extensive geometric mural in black and white that metamorphoses circles and guidelines, -the same one that reproduces the nice and tiny catalog-, a work that goes from one end of the long hall to the other.
But also the public -at least I know, at least on the occasion of the inauguration- was astonished by the large mobile works on circular panels of translucent acrylic, located at both ends and with moving meta-circles (inner circles on circles) that tend to transverberation and metamorphosis.
In truth, the room shows only three large works within the dynamics with which the original artist has been working, but the trio intercommunicates them in their stillness as much as in their dynamic of rhythmic polyphonic rhythmic twists and turns. And if the spectator has followed at least part of Villafañe's work, he will be able to notice a careful synthesis that has refined her work, and just as the vertigo to which she invited from the beginning was led to a maximum of severity and interpretative subtlety of the graphics, full-bodied.
